with Whitney Pak

Whitney Tenney Pak served for several years as head of the educational outreach circle of the C2C theater in Los Angeles. She previously worked in Montebello, California as both a Teaching Artist and director of shows for the high school.

Students learn how to express their emotions while focusing their energy, creativity, and physicality in a fun beginning acting class. Over eight weeks students will:

Class runs on Thursdays from 4:45 to 6:00.
Esther Banegas Gatica is a graduate of Teatro Prometeo Acting Conservatory in Theatre Arts at Miami Dade College. Esther is completely bi-lingual, has worked in movement theatre, devised theatre and has written and directed theatre for youth.

Improv - Grades 6-8
with Zach Pearson

Students will build their foundation for comedy and improv in this beginner class. Over six weeks students will:
- Learn basic improv games and techniques
- Boost their quick thinking skills
- Build relationships with others
- Expand their creativity
Class runs on Mondays from 6:00 to 8:00 for six weeks.
Zach Pearson is an actor, musician and teaching artist from New York City. Zach graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Acting. He has taught acting and improvisation workshops with Syracuse Stage, Building Company Theatre, and Irondale Ensemble (Brooklyn).
Audition Prep - Grades 9-12
with Beresford Bennett

Virtual
Work with a professional theatre artist on crafting your best audition. Over eight weeks students will:
- Work on monologue selection
- Build their acting foundation
- Refine your on camera and audition technique
- Build relationships with others
Class runs on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00.
Beresford Bennett has worked with the Lincoln Center Institute, ArtsGenesis, the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC, and travels the country with JazzReach, educating students on the history of jazz music. Beresford’s voice can be heard in national commercials for Nike, Fed-Ex, Miller, Nick at Night, and the video games Mafia III and Grand Theft Auto V. He has narrated over 70 audiobooks including “We Were Eight Years in Power” by Ta-Nehisi Coates, “Zone One” by Colson Whitehead, “Proving Einstein Right” by S. James Gates and “The Gift of Fire” by Walter Mosley.
